Lets count off a few reasons NOT to first.

First of all, unless you have a contingency plan in place for when you DO get pregnant, I would NOT ADVISE IT. The only sure fire way to avoid pregnancy is to not have sex, and even then, there are cases in history (documented and real, not biblical) where women who had not had sex STILL got preggers!

Second, can you trust him one hundred million percent? Dont forget, you are going to be having sex with every person he has. Person A has sex with person B, B with C, C with D, D with E. Person A had syphillis. Person E got syphillis. May as well have just slept with person A in the first place right?

Third: Sex carries some very heavy emotions along with it, and can "trap" you in a relationship you really don't need. Some girls think that just because hes sleeping with them, that he loves them. BUZZT! Wrong answer. Thousands of guys who "love" their girls are still cheating on them. Why?
And many guys are thinking that just because she puts out, she must love him. BUZZT! Wrong again. Some girls just don't know any other way to keep a guy around. They're dersperate, or caving to peer pressure. They're trying to keep up with the "clique" they are in, where being alone means you're a loser.

Forth: Reputation. You could get branded a sl ut even if you have been with only 1 guy, cuz guys also cave to peer pressure and will say "Oh ya, I did her!"

These are just a few reasons not to. Now a few reasons in favor of it.....

1 It can help cement the emotional bond bewteen you

2 Maybe you actually want a baby

3 the pleasure you give eachother is better than Disneyland ( and a helluva lot cheaper)

4 Having no pain of virginity to get around on the occasion you get married and finally do it with the one you truly love, and have experience to be able to show that love physically.

These are just a few cons and pros. The only one who can truly make up your mind about this is YOU.

(Hey everyone: Do you keep a log of EVERY person you have ever been with? I do, and dont remove the names for 7 years.)

I will never understand why sex is so sacred. I say do it, and do it often, and what difference does it make whether you care about the person or trust them? Sometimes it's good to do it just because it's fun. Sometimes it's good to do it just because you're hot for the other person. Just use a condom if you're not monogamous.

I think premarital sex is just fine, as long as you have some sort of feelings for the person. I am getting really tired of people saying that premarital sex is bad, because the bible told them it was...it is time to get over the bible, i mean seriously it is just a book full of stories, and false prophets...nothing more.

I really think that it is a bad choice. I know that people think that waiting is old fashioned, and stuff... but lets face it, there is no way to know for sure that things will work out. You can keep telling yourself that nothing will go wrong, and that it only happens to other people because they don't use protection. But it's not true. And depending on abortions is even worse. Truth be told, having premarital sex is the only sure way to definitley mess things up, for everyone.

I think it is a bad idea. I am 18 and I am waiting until I am married. I mean you are giving someone your body. I know to some people it is no big deal, but it is to me. Besides, think of all the STD's and teen pregnancy going around. It isn't worth it. It is much better to wait than to risk it for a couple of minutes of pleasure. That is my opinion anyway.

I think it is fine. I think it is everyone's own personal choice. I hate it when people preach about abstinence and judge others instead of being realistic.
