But as mentioned it is a parasite that attaches to a tree usually really high up,
My dad was such a good shot with a 22 he would shoot it out of tree tops, I now own the exact same model 22 and can shoot it with almost as good accuracy as he could main difference in the 2 guns is his was a wooden stock and mine is fake
ANYWAY to answer your question how well can you shoot, if not pretty good then be ready to do some dangerous climbing

mistletoe is the state flower for Oklahoma, but it's a parasite...It grows in trees, usually so high you can't reach it. When I was young, there used to be berries on it, but the mistltoe I have found in the past years have no berries.
I have only seen it in old trees, and at the top branches...good luck!

If it is native to your area, and the leaves are off of the trees, look for any thing green in the upper branches. You are more likely to find it in oak trees. Old timers used to shoot it down with a rifle.

in ga it grows in the top of oak trees we shoot it out with a 22 and pick it up

yes you can. look in trees. its a type of moss like stuff, i always found it in a tree with no leaves and then you wil see all this green stuff growing on the tree with no leaves. it will make sense when you see it. no sure where you live.

I'm 99% sure that mistletoe is very poisonous if eaten so don't pick it with your teeth.
