Didn't have to repent. Sin is disobeying God, PERIOD. Jesus was trying to get the corruption out of the worship in the temple. There was no disobedience to God.

properly, I heavily doubt he will be chasing all and sundry. considering he's the Son of God (all effective, all understanding, and so on...) all he has to do is imagine it, and also you'd be suffering in hell so quickly you'll ask your self the thanks to procure there. No whip necessary. because the Bible says - at the same time as He returns, he will be God's wrath or somthing like that.

No, righteous indignation is okay. He was showing them some tough love ... better that than sending them to hell.
Edit:
Below are more examples of Christ showing some tough love:
John 8:38-44:
38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

the priest were mocking His father and stealing from the masses. Jesus had every right to do what He did.

He sent those who were cheating the people packing. That wasn't wrong.

I am sure he had a word with the father about it.

No, it wasn't necessary. The Bible says be angry and sin not. He didn't sin, just got mad.

It was prophesied that he would do that, so it was in God's will. But it's not in God's will for us to do that.
