I want to increase my speed in a 2 week period. I am 15, 185 lbs and 6'2. I am pretty fast for my size. I run a 6.6 60 meter dash and a 4.65 40 meter dash. I want to shed at least a 1/10 of my times. What would be a good workout plan for a 2 week perod?

ok well im 15 and i run xc (cc or cross counrty) and track. the only thing that has helped me with getter faster is keep running and go your hardest and dont give up

Heart Chick has half the answer. The other half is pressing those pounds in the gym with some upper body strength training. At those distances, blocks and upper body strength will rule the day.

2 weeks is not that much time BUT for the time being just RUN FASTER. That is how your body gets to be faster you have to actually MAKE IT. So lets say you can run a mile in 8 minutes try to run it in 6 etc.... Hope this works.

The best thing I can think off are starting blocks. Even if you use them, you have to use them properly. Its not all about speed then, but power. You have to put all of your power into your start! You can easily knock 1/10 of a second off using them correctly, good luck!
