Why is beauty more important than brains for a woman?
i think because plenty of men are stupid, but not very many are blind.....right?

Who ever said beauty WAS more important than brain for anyone, woman or man? All those fashion shows and pageants and sexy movies scenes and sexy commercials and magazines have made the standard for us poor sheeps to follow?

A more appropriate question would be "how many generalities can you cram into a single passage"? You've obviously given it the old college try!
Beauty is a separate entity from looks; it an indelible quality of genuinity of personality, and compassion of spirit...consequently, it never fades.(Sadly, some of the most gorgeous women around are in fact the ugliest people on the planet, because they put too much faith in something they got only by chance, and never work on the inner person). Good looks are transcient; everyone has their moment in the sun, but looks fade and wrinkle like dried up raisins if you live long enough.
So, to your original question: Why is beauty more important than brains for women? I don't know that that's true...because being "truly beautiful" is a spiritual consideration; developing ones spirit is an obvious sign of intelligence, so I think the two go hand in hand. I'll do you an enormous favor...(call it a Christmas gift, if you like) by leaving the rest of what you said alone. Happy Holidays.

It's more of a culture thing. Beauty is glorified in the media while intelligence is not when it comes to women. Speaking as one seen more as intelligent, men hate the fact that a beautiful women is smarter then them. (not all men, real men love the factor a women is beautiful and smart)
Some men are thinking more of simply sexual pleasure without having to worry about conversation. It's ridiculous, but it's sadly accepted by a large majority of the world.

Don't know where you got that idea...There are many women out there who care more for the quality of their minds than the perfection of their faces. Beauty...true beauty...is something that shines from within...and any real man can see that.

you make no since but i thinkk...
girls like boys w/ brains and lack of looks, looks get you attracted at first, but its the personality that gets us hooked. i personally only go out w/ guys that i have fun w/ and can talk to. and girls no pms just mood swing alot and need their chocolate, so were not going to kill anyone or something.
