Then it would not be free will but slavery..
Free will is free will. Having said that, GOD WILL NOT ALWAYS STRIVE WITH MAN.
God does give people over to sin.. this is righteous judgment for their continued walk in the knowledge of their sin and THE real consequence of rejecting Gods holy Spirit. This is what happened to PHARAOH and many more who played with sin and mocked God too often. Paul writes further on this subject in Romans 1.
In other words, you willingly give your soul to sin and thus you willingly reject God and thus you willingly give yourself to Satan... which then, paradoxically, ensnares you. It is like a man, who willingly ignores the warning signs and also shutting his ears from his friends advise, he goes and touches Bitumen.. it will stick and leave it's consequences.. so the same with sin..

NO SATAN CANNOT force your will .. not unless by your continuous disobediance u make it easy for him to do so.. REMEMBER SAUL THE FIRST king of isreal?? , AT FIRST he was a man GOD could use but he got a big head and thought more of himself and his desires than that o GOD, . when he made a mistake he would not take the blame . it was excuses one after another..
when we fall short of who we should be do we say its ok everyone does it? listen sin doesnt overcome us al at once its bit by bit we compromise with the truth and we find it easier to continue . .
do u think satan does not know our every weakness and works on them?yeswe have an advocate with the father , true!! but we are to let him lose us from every sin that easily besets us.. a christian can never say i am what i am n i cant do any better,, we need to continue to grow in grace and love for our creator.. HE corrects and chastizes those he loves .. are u willing to be corrected>>?? think about it ,, bro mj

Neither God nor Satan have any control over your free will; each could try to influence your decision, and if you're in tune to God, for example, you can "hear" Him guiding you, but the final decision is up to you. That's the basic essence of free will.

The only way satan has access to you is by placing lie seeds in your thoughts and the more you choose to dwell on them the bigger they grow into trees. And the sin you commit as a result of putting your Faith in that lie flings wide the doors for satan to come in, eat your lunch and pop the bag.
That is why we are suppose to cast down every thought that tries to exalt itself above the knowledge of God.We are commanded to take every thought captive.

No. No one can control free will...that's why it's called "free" will. God gives it to us and promised He will not mess with it. Satan cannot control free will, yet he does have the power to influence our decisions...he and his minions whispering temptations and sinful things into our ears, our minds.

By definition, free will cannot be controlled by anyone. If you do something you shouldn't, it's because you chose to do it. Satan or anyone else can't make you do something you aren't willing to do. Even if you are threatened, you CHOOSE to follow orders rather than accept the consequences of failing to follow orders.

Only you can control your own free will.
If you feel the influence of Satan is overwhelming you, turn to God. He will help you.

No, Satan cannot control your free will. He can twist your arm, he can boldfaced lie to you, he can coax, he can dangle the most attractive carrot in your face, he can attack your loved ones, your property, and your life, but he cannot FORCE you to do, say, or be anything you don't want to. That saying, "The devil made me do it", is not valid.

for the people who believe that we, "the believers"
are puppets etc. God has given us free choice- Satan can control your free will if you let him.
That is my view on the subject and I'm sure their are many disbelievers who argue differently

Satan tries to tempt you to start down a path that is easy to fall into and difficult (often) to emerge from. You still choose until it becomes something like an addiction.
