I stupidly bought a PosterPedic full size mattress at about 1000 dollars a few months ago. Now I want to upgrade to a queen size bed but I still have a few payments left on my other very expensive mattress. The only real reason I want to get rid of it is because it's just too small and king won't fit in my bedroom. What can I do with this used mattress? It's in perfect condition and I'll even throw in my canopy bed frame if I can find a way to get rid of in without losing too much money.

Run a local ad, but don't expect to get back most of your money, for most people doesn't want to pay those big bucks. If you can't sell it for a decent amount, put it up for trade.

When you buy your new mattress, the company delivering it will take your old mattress away for you whether it is fairly new or not. You can also put it in a guest bedroom if you have one with the right size bed. It's hard to sell a used mattress for many reasons. Otherwise call 1-800-GOT JUNK and take the loss. We all make mistakes.

Craigslist.com in the FOR SALE section, there is furniture. Click there and in the top corner is POST. Click and fill it out. Here, you can't sell used mattresses (or not supposed to peole do anyway) so just say SELLING QUEEN SIZED CANAPY BED and do like

Sell it on Ebay or run an add in the local paper.
