If you mean the noun "love", then the word in French is "amour"
If you mean the verb "to love", then the word in French is "aimer"

They don't really have a verb to love,

but love as a noun is L'amour (I think it's male)

and as a verb they use "to like" or "aimer"

I love you is "Je t'aime"
