The Scripture makes clear that these are signs of a false gospel and a great delusion. God gave all supernatural healings, miracles, signs, wonders, and “tongues” to prove that those who were speaking for God in the Bible were truly from God.
God… spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son…How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His will? (Hebrews 1:1-2; 2:3-4)
Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds. (2 Corinthians 12:12)
… Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you… (Acts 2:22)
When God finished writing the Bible He withdrew those supernatural manifestations. Those who claim to practice these alleged supernatural wonders are deluded and under a curse from God:
And for this cause God shall send them a strong delusion that they should believe a lie. (2 Thessalonians 2:11)
…If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book [the Bible]: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy [the Bible], God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city [Heaven], and from the things which are written in this book. (Revelation 22:18-19)
There shall arise false christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Matthew 24:24)

I have a good friend who went on a wilderness trek some years back with no food or water in the mountains in Mexico for two weeks. He told me the way he found all his food and water because of a deer (a big buck) that appeared to him daily and led him to streams/roots/etc. This is his spirit guide, now he goes by Venado (Spanish for deer) as a means of reverence.

My little brother also has his own experience. He is a regular rock climber and was climbing in the mountains by himself and came across a baby rattlesnake on a small ledge that he was just stepping on - it slid away and he followed it onto another ledge, and just as it happened the ledge he had been on slid down the face of the cliff he'd been climbing. He regularly sees rattlesnakes now and always stops for them, and he's gotten out of a few scrapes now because of it.

I don't know anything else about spirit guides that aren't animal representations, but I thought this might be interesting to you.

I'm of the idea that spirit guides, etc are all part of our own MASSIVE unconscience. Feel free to interact w/ these 'guides' but remember that their advice to you is not 'divine revelation'. Even though it seems to be coming to you from 'outside', you still get to analyze it and decide, for yourself, whether or not it is good advice. It's also reasonable to check it out w/ friends. You don't have to say "my spirit guide said..." You could just say "I was talking this over with someone, and they suggested X... what do you think?"

Even if divine revelation is real... it's still a good idea to test the idea with level-headed friends who can spot a problem.

I have visible, heard and felt spirits in my house, at extraordinary jobs and likewise on investigations (I'm a ghost hunter). One night time, at the same time looking a film in the dead of night, I noticed a mild transfer speedily left to proper. It then became, headed in the direction of the ground and disappeared. It used to be vivid however did not illuminate the room in any respect. I have a number of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) recorded. Anything from children gambling to moans to "Go Back", "Annie", and "Can you pay attention that?"...simply to say a couple of. My daughter has visible a bearded guy in military fatigues and a little bit woman in a white get dressed. As I form this, I'm seeing motion within the subsequent room. to see spirit would suggest that you are a medium...
although any medium worth their salt would require some validation of spirit before accepting it is spirit ( as I suggested in your previous question )

I have seen 3 of mine also and had these validated by other mediums a few times , who have told me that they see the same as i do

one that works with me a lot is a nun called Monique
she is very young and helps me with teaching...
they all usually have different attributes that help you with the spiritual aspects of your life
