Check out www.whfoods.com for good nutritional info. I found it very interesting. I happened to stumble upon it. I like reading labels in stores & checking out what nutritional content different foods have. :)
Take care -stay away from depressants like beer, hard alcohol, etc. (They are not made from fruits & natural sugars & would add to a low feeling or can cause one. Plus, they'll make ya lob on extra weight & that can usually can unhappiness in many people!) A little wine is okay (especially red wine) but it's a little. It's made from grapes that have natural sugars - and we all know sugar can boost . You don't want to get any big sugar high cuz there is that going up & coming down side. That's why they always say moderation is best.
Try eating a great fruit salad or any fruit, veggies are also great to munch on. For a guy, tomatoes based products are really good for you. Don't forget your speghetti & lasagnas, etc. Like Garfield would say, "lasagna, the world's most perfect food!" :) :) :)

P.S. also exercise is a great booster of well-being! Jump roping in your home is pretty fun - speed jump roping for guys like Stallone would do on his Rocky movies? Doesn't take much room to store a jump rope & jump for a few minutes every now and then through out the day or night as needed. :)

Wow, so many others had answers but I'm straining to think of one. For me eating out at one of my favorite restaurants helps to lift my spirits, but no specific food that I can think of.... but a good stiff Rum and Diet used to do the trick. lol. Well, at least until it wore off. ;)

I'm in the medical field and its a fact that eating Chocolate releases endorphins so eat away lol but not too much u will also gain weight.

I'm having a cup of coffee right now, and this feels good. A cinnamon raisin bagel with cranberry almond cream cheese does wonders for my soul though. Wish I had one to go with the java!

Chocolate does it for a lot of people, or ice cream.
I like sugar snap peas (cold) with or without a dip, some teas (iced and hot).
Iced cold water is a great refresher sometimes too.
A nice moderate amount of alcohol can do it for those who are drinkers. I like some beers.
