If you were close to your grandmother, it has only been a year, and you may still be looking for closure on your grief. Also, if you were close to your grandmother, and very affected by her passing, maybe your grief is manifesting as fear that other family members will die soon also, and maybe you are mentally "rehearsing" the effects of such an event, even though nothing in real life has suggested to you that you are likely to lose them anytime soon....

I read a great dream article recently and it has really clarified the true meaning of dreams for me. It said basically throw away all the dream books out there because they are other peoples interpretations of dream symbols. It is what the symbols mean to you, it is your hope or fears manifesting themselves in your subconscious. You could be afraid of family dying or angry with them, and you could be missing your grandmother so much it shows up in your dreams. Do you watch CSI? It could mean many things only you can know. Take a good look at yourself, the things you dwell on, fears, hopes and the people you care about and miss. Then you should understand your dreams better.

Dream is sometimes a product of our imaginations. But sometimes it tells us about d past,d present and the future.Sometimes also it's as a result of delirium . In a related development, some of the things witnessed in the past but which had been unduly suppressed look for a way to express themselves and they no doubt come in form of dreams. Like I said before, dreams foretell the future. Therefore since your dream is mostly about death or the dead,it's not a good omen.So you NEED to be prayerful! Finally, though this may seem outrageous but I'll like you to give it a thought. Some diseases especially untreated or partially treated venereal or sexually transmitted diseases in their advanced stage, may trigger off or give rise to such dreams. So I enjoin you to go for a medical test.

i've dealt with this type of stuff frequently. It typically means that you have a fear of either losing that relative (not necessarily death, but just out of your life) OR you feel you need to connect more with that person, i.e. tell them you love them, what they've meant to you, etc.
The people who have already passed, it means you wish you could have had closure or let them know how you feel.
trust me. tell them how you feel and the dreams will stop.
