...still let your kids go to school if you think what they teach in school is wrong, why not yank them out and leave it to god and church to educate them?
They will be smarter if they're educated by god right?

Stop generalizing. I am a Christian. I teach in a public school. No one said ALL Christians are against public education. There are atheists who are also against public education. Why did you not include them in your rant?

I think you mean to ask, "Why ARE there so many?" instead of "Why IS there so many?" (That is part of what I teach in public school as part of English grammar, so I am sure I am correct.) In addition, since you are speaking of education, "there" is spelled THERE instead of THER.
God is a proper noun and ought to be capitalized.
You also left out a comma that is needed after "God."
I'm certain you want to be correct, since a few you atheists clam to be so perfect, and you say that Christians are so dumb and make so many grammatical errors. See? We ALL make mistakes.

What, are you trying to make us leave schools and colleges, too? Man, I have never seen such hate.

FYI, NO religious views are taught in school.

My kids go to our parish school, which has higher academic test scores than public schools AND includes an acknowledgment of God in all subjects. Overall, I do believe the kids have a better chance of getting a good education there -- if I didn't, I wouldn't be paying to send them there.

When my kids are preparing for high school, we will include each of them in the discussion as to where each kid will go to high school. We have "magnet" schools that emphasize a particular field and the kids there earn a high school diploma and a 2-yr associates degree simultaneously. This is a program through the public school and if any of our kids have affinity for one of the four different programs, we'll take that option. Or if public school is a better opportunity, we'll go that route. I anticipate it will be a different choice for each kid and that's fine because they are different people with different needs.

The reason why we'll do this at high school is because it will be a good transition for them to start making decisions for themselves when they are getting closer to adulthood and have to make all the decisions themselves.

As far as how smart they are, that's always been up to God. Some kids have more mental alacrity than others. Doesn't really matter -- no matter how smart a person is, they are an important person.

i had fun in school. my parents didn't think what the school system taught me was wrong. they always told me that it's up to me if i would follow the world or God.

i send my nephew to a public school. I'm teaching him the say way my parents taught me. to have a open heart and a open mind and God will do the rest.

Than why is there so many Christians kid in schools and colleges?

Who said we think what they teach is wrong? I don't think what they teach is wrong. If you are talking about evolution, then that is just one thing. not enough to warrant yanking your kids out of school. I am home schooled, but that is because my mom wanted me to have a better education than the public system could offer.

We as Christians parents trust God to the fullest and even though they teach our children wrong things in school it's always our right and respondsbilty to teach them what is right. School prepares them for the adult life math, english, science but we as parents teach them love how to love what God loves and hate what God hates.

Maybe more responsible and less exposed to stuff they really do not need to know yet. Besides my taxes pay for good schooling and public schools are not that great . But most people are stuck with what we have and have to yell to get what should be taught. Peace

I would love to have my kids go to a church school, beats the hell out of having them brainwashed into believing they slithered out of pond scum and incubated under a pile of dinosaur crap. Because any and all true intelligence comes from GOD.

Mine are home schooled but they do know the "Theory of Evolution" but you may not be aware of this but the average home schooled or Catholic schooled child out scores the public counterparts.

I'm pretty sure anyone on here who asks "why are there still monkeys if evolution is true" has already went through that.

A girl the other night asked why we aren't still "evoluting" and why we don't have 900lb brains yet.

I just didn't know what to say.
