FYI it's just a question I don't even have a son. I know someone else with an older son who is thinking of this.

Legal age: 18 (or 21 in some places). And no it's not a big deal if you get it for your son. It's not like you are buying him a prositute.
Reading other answers, why is everyone so prude??? AS IF your son hasn't seen a naked woman before. I mean, it's just a fun party thing. I don't think it's "sick" or "wrong" at all. And why would it be ok for a dad but not a mom? That makes no sense.

I don't think this should be done by a mom at ANY age. It's not like the son would appreciate it... he'd be freaked out and feel awkward. Don't incourage your friend to hire the stripper--can you imagine what the poor kid's friend would think after THAT?
And as a reply to one of the comments on here by... Melissa? No one here is being a prude, we're being DECENT. What if your parent hired you a stripper? Sounds like a party?

Like everyone else said, age is irrelevant. You shouldn't really be hiring a stripper for your son's birthday party at any age. Even if he's grown, it's kind of strange that your getting him a stripper.

if you know someone else with a son who wants to hire a stripper for him, that is inappropriate. but anway, AT LEAST 18. i think it is VERY inappropriate. in any case it should only be done on a stag night.

Maybe you should think of how the son would feel. That's kinda weird. I mean a strippers grindin ya in front of your mom. WHAT! Horny and momy and or dady don't mix.

Um, never. That's weird and something a parent shouldn't be providing to their child. If the boy wants a stripper he can wait until he's 18 or 21 depending on the state and have his friends buy him one.

Re tentoes... Then why is she asking? If she is aware someone else is doing the organising and she isn't happy about it then she has answered her own Q. In answer, certainly not before 18, and as his mother I wouldn't want to know anyway ta very much!
