I like Skillet, too. They're my favorite band. I, too, only listen to Christian rock. Other bands I listen to are Thousand Foot Krutch, Red, Falling Up, The Almost, Blindside (they are Christian, but they're from Sweeden. Blindside is a little more liberal than any Christian band from the US), Fireflight, Lifehouse (they are Christian, too), Audio Adrenaline (someone else has also already mentioned them), Newsboys (their earlier stuff, lately they are more worship band) and Plumb (her style varies, but she's awesome!). You should check out www.radiou.com. It's a Christian rock station based in Columbus, Ohio. They do have a streaming feed of music on their website or if you're looking for music videos, check out their sister site www.tvulive.com.

I don't listen to Christian Rock. But there is good band that is technically Christian called Collective Soul. I don't think I know any more bands.
But I will tell you that non-Christian rock will freaking blow your mind, despite its message. Led Zeppelin IV is the closest to a religious experience you can have with music. Also, Tool's Lateralus. And I think you will be strong enough to resist letting the lyrics control you.

I like some of the ones you listed. However, one of my favorites is Petra. I especially like the "Old" Petra (70's era) it had a good Classic Rock sound, newer Petra sounds more Heavy Metalish. I like both, but Old Petra is better in my opinion. I also like Whiteheart.
Now I'll stop giving away my age....

To each their own. I used to listen to Christian rock but don't care for it any more. However, I used to enjoy Petra.
