Is this statement worn out, over used and nonsensical? Why? Why not?

Yes.

It's based on a ridiculous definition of faith. Here faith means 'believing something which seems silly to to a Creationist', rather than 'believing something without evidence'. There is masses of evidence for evolution, and anyone who uses that statement should be imprisoned for crimes against logic.

Yes.

The scientific evidence in favor of evolution is completley overwhelming. When you see people argue in favor of creationism, you notice that they pretty much invariably either use arguments that don't even work, or cite evidence which is very small and exists as a minor anomaly on the border of the vast mountain of evidence for evolution. If creationism is backed up by enough science that it doesn't take faith to believe in, why do creationists have to resort to arguments like 'My grandfather wasn't a chimpanzee' and 'If evolution is true, monkeys shouldn't exist anymore' and 'Some little glass jar didn't spontaneously generate a green blob with eyestalks therefore abiogenesis can't have happened'? If the science supporting them is so solid, why are their arguments so full of holes?

All of the above.

It does not take "faith" to believe in something that has astronomical amounts of evidence to back it up over something that is based on 2000 year old superstition and has not a single scrap of evidence to back it up.

It's a completely illogical statement. But then again, creationists are not exactly renowned for their vast intellect.

Evolution means a soul improving step by step, slowly giving up all bondages like fear, greed, selfishness, and desires. The more faster the evolution the more quickly we reach the enlightenment.

Creation is not understandable by me! Why did God create if he was perfect( satisfied with himself and having everything)? It intrigues me, because we have so much suffering, this question needs answer by realization!

Well there is zero proof for creation. And some proof for evolution. So yeah that statement doesn't make a lick of sense. Not a lick I tell you.

A statement made by people who do not understand the first thing about evolution.

A particularly uneducated creationist may say 2x = 10 doesn't make sense.

There is a lot of proof for evolution but none for creationisim. So it takes far more faith to believe in creationism.

I can't believe either based on faith alone. In order for me to believe, I need proof.

It's just one of the responses from creationist wackos. It's classic straw clutching.
