Yes. Women should work. They need some type of independence. What if they break up with their spouse and their husbands decide to throw them out? What happens when the children grow up and she doesn't need to stay home to watch the kids anymore? But coming from a physiological point of view, they shouldn't be lifting heavy boxes or objects. Men should do that.

It's not a question of should they, but more a reason of why it's an obvious answer. In society and the worlds economy you cannot live comfortably with a family without two incomes. Many woman enjoy careers and many woman enjoy being stay at home mothers. Even woman who would like to stay home can't because it's too difficult to function as a family without the income you need.

Other than women who were in situations where there were servants to tend them, women have always "worked" (just not always for a paycheck). Being a housewife/mom is more work than many employed people do...

But to answer your question, anyone who has expenses and needs to support themselves, should work. There are few free rides....

Who thinks they have options. Unless born a princess, I'd say they all DO work. If married at least two jobs if also working outside the home.

I've not heard anyone suggest a man ought to choose between a career and marriage. Have you?

Speaking for me personally, it is my refugee from my 3 kids and man at home. I love to work and be independent. I think it is a womans right to work, I mean if she and her husband both feel like she doesn't need to work than that is fine too, but I feel like a woman has as much need to work as any man does

Women work hard even without a job to go to.
It depends on many issues. Money, family, etc.

FOR ONE WORKING ALSO MAKE ME FEEL VERY INDEPENDENT, MAKING MY OWN MONEY IS GREAT. I ADVISED ANY WOMEN IN THE WORK TO WORK IF SHE CAN.
