It's about 3ft long! Could I stuff it? My dad said he's seen chefs covering fish in loads of garlic and salts and herbs etc. I've seen them stuffed with cous cous.

I love that Jamie Oliver recipe. I also love salmon baked in a tinfoil envelope with a bit of butter, lemon and dill inside the cavity and put on the bbq for about 25 min with medium coals. Not to hot or the fish cooks way too fast.
Cheers!

EASY BAKED SALMON

1 salmon fillet or steak
1/2 to 1/3 c. half & half or milk
1/2 tsp. minced fresh dill, chopped chives or basil
Salt (opt.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place salmon in shallow baking dish and add half and half or milk so fish is half immersed. Sprinkle with dill, chives or basil and salt if desired. Bake 30 minutes, occasionally spooning liquid over salmon. Fish is done when mostly pale pink in center.

Note a 3' salmon wouldn't fit in a domestic oven
I would suggest cutting it in half and carefully put it back together when you serve, if you have a platter large enough.

You pre heat the grill You oil the fish and put lemon and spices on it or you can stuff it with what ever you want in it You then put the fish onto a square and then you fold it like a parcel You then put it on the grill and you leave it alone till it is cooked
