I hope not, I do it all the time for extra money. However, two weeks ago they had a problem with returning the red blood cells. My arm was black and blue from half-way between my shoulder and elbow nearly to my wrist. It is still sore. I have only been donating with the other arm. My husband thinks it will take six weeks to get well.
