No Sound Card - PLEASE HELP!?

i've been tryin to sort this out for days and i've asked several times on here but nothings workin. I have a HP Vectra VL400 and there is NO sound driver for it on the hp website. Not for Windows xp home edition anyway.
Where can i get one??? It says i have no soundcard after reinstalling windows but it worked fine before.
PLEASE HELP!!!

The Software and drivers are with Windows XP all computers come with sound cards.
It sounds like you might have made a mistake in your ReInstalling.

ur soundcard might have burned out. it happens cause it happened to me. u just gotta buy a new one
