Throw it away and buy a new one. The cost of repairing it (if that's possible) will most likely exceed the cost of a new camera.

this happens to me each of the time, I discern the digital camera's round hollow is the challenge. The lens is round, the hollow is round, consequently there is not any grip. it is what I do, I park my %.-up on hill and set my new lens in the back of the tire, take off the brake, and by doing that, it bends the lens a tad. Now when I put in on the digital camera, it takes countless attempt, I even ought to apply a crow bar now and again. as quickly because that's on although, it under no circumstances comes off. EDIT: Steve makes a good factor, the most be conscious is black duct tape, because the silver stuff comes from south Artica and is basic to carry ailment. might want to you eat a raw chicken, NO. same element. i wager you would possibly want to carry the digital camera faraway out of your face and about 2 or so feet away, yet it is extra of a preffisinal element.

Your camera is broke. Better go to Best Buy and pick up a new camera, now!

The lens is the most delicate part of a digital point and shoot camera, and when it drops from a height, it's likely to brake. You could get it repaired, but this will likely cost more than what the camera is actually worth. The best thing is to go camera shopping, before they get sold out.

Years ago my dog knocked my Canon EOS 28-105 mm off the counter and tweaked the zoom. I had to send it back to Canon to be repair. Got the address from their website.

You can now use it as a paperweight. Repairs, at your expense, will cost more than a new camera.

Enjoy shopping for your new camera.
