I think I get enough sleep and I eat about six times a day, but still seem to get irritable and cranky at night time. I work about 10 hours/day and work out, plus I am studying for my engineering Master's, do I just have too much going on, or should I try meditation or something to that extent? Any advice would be appreciated.

may be the diet a long with a lot going on.

I would bump up your carbs a little around your workouts and breakfast.
