If it is a prerequisite to believe in Jesus then Muslims also believe in Jesus and often have a reverent belief so they must get the same benefits as Christians plus believing in paracletos as well.

Jesus was not the only Jewish prophet to be called the son of god.

We have the term Children of God. Why don't people see what is said not what they can oppose. It proves their faith is weak.

Jesus never claimed divinity or a third part of god - that comes from the indo-european influences. It has a totally different context.

Even the demons believe and they shudder. (James 2:19). It takes more than just "belief" it takes action. What are you going to do with the knowledge of Jesus? Are you going to deny who he is and say he is just a prophet (muslims)? Are you going to say he is just a normal man, or didn't exist (atheists)? Are you going to accept him as your Savior? Having knowledge is nothing when it isn't put into action. What you do with that knowledge is the question.

There is no doubt that Jesus never claimed to be divine only to be the anointed one. If Jesus had claimed to be God, he would have broken the first commandment and be a neither a Jew nor Hebrew.

The original word is to 'trust' in Jesus not 'believe' in Jesus. Whichever way you look at it, it is the same. Christians believe they can perform the same miracles as Jesus - there is no proof that this is so. Either Jesus is divine or not.

If one believes he is GOD, a great confusion would ensue;
- it invalidates all the OT prophets and Jesus himself.
- It creates a pantheon.
- Proves the paramount God to be impotent
- Creates a third God - never know before.
The solution is that Christianity is the supposition of an ancient indo-European concept that all spiritual things come in threes. In other words, Christianity is Paganism.

Jesus clearly predicted an event after him Paracletos - greater one than him, - he that speaks, not himself but from God.

Taking all the elements together Muslims believe in the return of Jesus in the latter days as a Muslim as they believe all the OT Prophets to be. They do believe in Jesus and do trust in his message. That may be why in the C7th to C11th most of the Christian world converted to Islam.
Muslims trust in Jesus, they have not woven a pagan web around him like Christians. They believe in One God and that Muhammad completed and built on Jesus’ mission. Muhammad was the prophesied one, in Genesis, in the psalms and by Jesus to come [et al].

Christians only continue in believing in Christianity because it ahs identity factors. The same goes for all religions. -Most people are so pig ignorant that they will vote the same way, buy the same car and believe in the same religion. It is written in the genes.

I sympathise with you in asking this question. It is that tide of human ignorance and the ostridge mentality of most humans that lies in personal identity. This has cost so much suffering and deaths throughout the centuries.

People listen to ignorant people and become ignorant. It is the same for Muslims these days as it is for Christians. The Churches and Mosques have an interest in making up lies to keep their flocks, often the stronger the rhetoric the greater support they get.

Both Jesus and Muhammad were gentle and forgiving men who wanted to make people better people. If you want to learn, read the academics, not the priests and moneylenders in the temple.

A true Christian believes that Jesus Christ is God, that he resurrected from the dead (and is therefore alive today - Romans 10:9) and was born of a virgin (indicating his sinless nature). Muslims might believe the virgin part but they vehemently deny he is God or resurrected from the dead 2000 years ago.

Jesus was not a Jewish prophet. Jesus does not feature in Jewish theology whatsoever. It is against Judaism to worship a fellow human being, which is why real Jews knew that Jesus was not the messiah mentioned in the Tanakh.

Wrong, illuminatus supremo.
It is belief in his divinity. Would you have everyone act
'irreverent' who doesn't believe in the divinity ?
But as Psalm 1 says 'sit not in the company of mockers'.
See ya.

No. even satan believes in Jesus. "Believe" is not translated the same in English as it is in the original text, which was Greek. "Believe" in that sense meant "trust in rely on, etc." That's what true Christian do in Jesus. I believe in the English language sense in Mohammed, but that DOES NOT make me a muslim.
