Look for the hex code, if can be found in the little pop-up where you get your color,

It's usually something like R(ed) =
G(green)
B(lue) If you copy and paste those numbers into the same area in word, or ppt, you can use that color!

I have a visual now :

I use a program called FastStone Screen Capture. With it I copy the color and in a different application I paste the color and adjust the color till it matches. I don't know of another way.

You can get the FSSC tool or I have an older version I think is better. It has features that the new one doesn't.

This tool has a lot more features. So many that I have this tool startup with windows.
