Hi, i've had vista since September, and i've been reasonable patient with it, but now i've had enough!
i have a Ei-system El 3103 with 512 Mb DDRII and 533 RAM.
When Vista starts for me, the start up logo comes first, with a delay on the sound.
Also, once logged on to vista, programmes take up to 10 minutes to load, and even when loaded, vista will sometimes crash in that time, or once the programme is open, will not responde for some time.
I am wondering, is this to do with my 533 RAM, if so, i was thinking of getting 1g RAM, soon, if not please tell me, i'm not an expert on Laptops so make simple was possible.
Thanks!

well...it depends on do u have vista premium? or basic... if u have premium is takes about 1gb of ram to run vista smothly. basic is about 512.. i think u should put in 1gb ram... about the crashing i really dont know i think it could be the bios or somthing to do with that..

Somewhat confused here, you say you have 1 GB of RAM, but it is two different types?? DDRII and something else??? Both of these are RAM types, so what do you really have there?
