I am really confused about girls in general. I have been on two dates with this girl I like, told her that I was interested in her, on the first date, so she knew where I stood. She seemed fine with that, went on a second date, kissed her good night, then haven't heard from her since. I sent her an email, but I have not heard back from her since. It's the holidays but I get the feeling this girl is either too busy for a relationship, or she does not have any feelings towards me.
I was honest and up front with this girl, and very sincere. Is that a mistake? I have not heard back from her in over a week, and I do not want to chase this girl. I can tell this girl is not the one for me, but I feel that being honest and upfront with a girl, this one in particular, cost me a chance at a relationship. I guess I'm confused why girls don't get back to me and say, "I'm not interested" in stead of leaving me hanging.

Not all girls are the same. I think your problem was that you knew she wasn't but one but persued it anyway, maybe it was a good thing because otherwise you might be stuck in a relationship you would regret. The right woman will come along and you'll know she's the one by the way she treats you, by the kindness in her voice, eyes, touch. She'll amaze you and you'll know she's it... Alot of woman wonder the same about men, why aren't they just honest... You just have to find the right one, and trust me she'll come along.

Relationships are not about being honest, they're more about being fair. It's like a game with it's own rules, the ladies don't show up their cards, nor the guys do.
If you pick up these rules, you'll never think that not telling everything directly and at once is not honest.

Just because this one girl decided to act like that, doesn't mean we all would. I'm VERY honest with my feelings, simply because I can't be bothered to beat around the bush and prefer just being straight with people. I don't think you should be less direct with girls in the future; I mean, just because that girl didn't like it, doesn't mean we all don't :]

she mite be scared to be honest wit u cuz shes been scammed b4, or she truly mite not be interested. if im not interested in a guy, ill tell him that. not all girls r the same tho. if this girl doesnt like honesty, there r other girls who do. if this girl doesnt work out, thats ok. there r plenty other girls out there that prefer honesty.
