when its winter time and I'm outside my hands get so cold that they hurt. I was helping my husband clean snow off the cars & had to go inside cause my hands hurt so bad!! When I got in and tried to warm them up a bit they hurt so bad I wanted to cry!! Also sometimes when I'm outside and put 2 layers of gloves on they still get so cold I need to go inside cause they hurt. Can anyone explain why this happens & should I see a doctor or am I worrying too much?? Thanks in advance

Try wearing mittens. Body heat will help keep your hands warmer. By putting 2 pair of gloves they may just be tight & if your hands can't move freely they get colder.

I have the same problem--I have very thin veins that are buried deep. Even in the summer, sometimes they'll turn purplish blue and ache. When they try to draw blood, do they have trouble getting a vein? My doctor calls me turnip because he can't get blood out of me. If you have the same problem, that may be why you're having problems. One of the quicker ways to warm them up is to run warm water over them when you get back in.

You might just have poor circulation in your hands.
