I live in central florida and behind my home is a large wooded area, wild hogs walk on our yard all the time, my favorite time is when they have their little babies, the babies run around squealing happily, the mothers are also very tender with their babies even snuggling them, Can't imagine hurting one of them, how sad for you.

I live in florida and you might not find a trophy boar here but you will find quantity. There are so many wild pigs running around and they are hated by all. You can easily hunt on some ones land because they want the hogs out. You can save a little money and you still get some hogs. And they are in season year round, even with a bow.

Wilderness Hunting Lodge. Monterey, Tennessee. It's a caged hunt. Meaning they have a around 2500 acres fenced in. The terrain is very outstanding. Hills to Mountain to grassy fields. The hogs run free and you have to go hunt them. They are NOT pen raised and they do chase you. It is a great place to meet all sorts of folks and have a great time. For around 600 bucks. Check out there web site. http://www.wildernesshuntinglodge.com

Try Catalina Island, the pig hunting there used to be great, and I remember a hun that included airfare etc all in one package. Check with fish and game or the catalina department of tourism. Also, I know there are several places up around paso robles and lake nacimiento but I can't remember any of the names. Check with the chamber of commerce there or again, fish and game.
Good luck, it's a real rush!!

make your way up near los padres or fort hunter liggit. I go there all the time. there is a private lodge out in the los padres forest, I forget the name, but the area is thick with pig, oh yeah. bring a big pistol for back up. I usually carry two .45s or my .44 mag. they get big out here, and they are mean. saw a 400 pounder at my local baw proshop. (trophy)

anywhere on the Weyerhauser lands of S.E. Oklahoma are full of hogs, but theres no hunting guides, so you have to have real hunting skills. theres about 500,000 acres open to the public there and hogs are HATED, you can kill all you want.

Man, for your sake, I hope you are a true marksman. Those boars are savage when they're angry. Happy hunting!
