Only those chosen as judges can go to heaven. Luke 22:28-30, 1 Cor. 6:2, 3 (Revelation 5:8, 9, 14:3).
The ones on earth do not chose them, Jehovah himself choses them.
There are less than 9,000 partakers left, but many are young (in their 50s, 60s).

God makes the determination as to who is a part of that group. You can want to be in it all you like, but unless God has let you know by means of his holy spirit then you would have the opportunity for life forever on earth. Currently there are around 8000 still alive on the earth right now.
If a person needs to ask if they're a part of that group, then the answer is 'no'.

Jehovah is the one who decides who goes to heaven and who doesn't. The bottom line is that everyone will be content with his decision regarding them.

In all honest the bible makes it very clear that it is not for us to decide only God makes that choice and no one JW or other wise has a right to judge or say how many will or will not make it or be saved......

Jesus died for our sins.....He taught us that whosoever believes in him shall have eternal life......
please don't waste time worrying about whether you are going to heaven or not....
Jesus taught us that fear does not come from God, it operates in Satan's kingdom....
why then must some churches strike fear in people to be one of the 144,000 "perfect" people to enter heaven?
GOD LOVES YOU SO MUCH HE HAS SENT HIS SON TO DIE ON A CROSS FOR YOU!!!!!......HE WOULD HAVE DONE THAT FOR YOU EVEN IF YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE TO DO IT FOR!!!!!.........
Jesus also taught against severe legalism...he used the bible to teach love and mercy..........Jesus was even friends with sinners, he even loved his enemies!!!!!.........Jesus does not want religion to be stressful, instead he wants you to experience great joy in it.....
The very reason why we exist is because God loves us!!!!!!
Do you honestly think God would have let the world expand to more than 6 billion people and let only 144,000 into heaven even after he died for all of us???

Well, of which tribe are you from. Apocalipsis crearly states they are from the tribes of Israel. If you are a gentile, you are not one of them.
They are selected for a special mission, and they will get to heaven. HOWEVER, they are NOT the only ones that will go to heaven.
