this all happened within five days! i broke up with him and a day later i told him how i felt and i wanted to work things out he said maybe he just needs time and then today i asked him for a second chance he told me he is dating someone already and just wants to be friends i feel dumb but people are telling me it makes him look bad because he is already with someone just shortly after our breakup! who does look bad?

You look bad because you didnt really think about what you wanted, broke up with him, and then wanted him back the next day.
But he looks worse because he rebounded too quickly. Makes him look like a player.

I think he looks bad, if at all.
I would just let him go, (or ignore him to bug the crap out of him) apparently he liked someone else while yall were dating, or hes just trying to make you jealous.
Either way if the breakup was mutual, it doesn't really look that bad.
If he had broken up with you, then yeah, hes a jerk.

He obviously like the other girl before he broke up with you. That tells me he was the bad one. Move on he's just not worth it.
