just make sure she can get in her normal snuggle place easilyn and maybe put a warm hot water bottle in her bed, but other than that she should be fine. I got my baby dressed a couple of months ago and the vet said she would be very tired and would just go to sleep - which was SO WRONG.. I got her home and she was running around mad shouting and wanting to play lots, she did have a small stitch in her side which lasted all of 10 minutes, her pulling that out with her teeth with was a bit distressing but once it was out she more or less left it alone, if you kitten does this, just make sure its not weeping or open, other than that she should be fine.

Good luck and hope her fur don't take too long to grow back!

Just nice cushy bedding, a handy clean litter box, fresh water nearby, and a bland food that won't give her gas, when the vet says she's awake enough to eat.
You will be surprised how fast she heals. The younger they are spayed, the faster they heal.
Keep an eye on the incision every day and call quick if there is redness, heat or pus. Little lumpies are ok, it's just tissue reaction to the deeper sutures.

Ask them what pain medication is being sent home with her to use for the next few days. Try to limit her activity to prevent bruising and extra stress on her incision. Keep her confined to a room she likes to spend time in with all of her stuff (food, water, litterbox, etc) so she doesn't have to move around the house much. The young kitties and puppies heal so quickly. The clinic will/should have specific post-operative home care instructions for you.

I just had one of my cats spayed about 3 weeks ago.

She was tired when I picked her up. I made an extra comfy spot for her to rest in and kept her food and water close by. You should also get some dust free cat litter and use it for about one week -- talk to you vet about that when you pick her up.

I made mine a bed in her kitty carrier. She won't eat the first day, but if you tap a little water on her nose with your finger she'll lick it off so at least she stays hydrated. She'll be bouncing around in a day or two. Just don't pick her up or play too rough with her for about a week. Lay on the floor by her bed and scritch her ears and chin. She'll like the visit. :-)

Ask the vet. The vet needs to tell you what to do. follow the vet's instructions.

Are there stitches? make sure she does not pull them out!

try to keep her comfy in one room with soft bedding and food and water. stay with her for a while and check in on her-- no playing or high jumping for a few days-- monitor her incision-- make sure it stays clean - red could = infection.

but above all, listen to what the vet says,.

thank you for getting her spayed!!

just make sure she has some place soft, warm and quite to rest. It'll take a few days for her to start feeling like her old self. Don't be concerned if she doesn't eat for a couple of days - just make sure she has water. You are very considerate for asking

Just find her a quiet, dark, warm fuzzy place to rest and no one bother her unless she calls you. Food and water of course. She is not going to be in a frisky mood for a few days.

just let it do what it normally does
curl up in front of the fire & lick its crotch
no change there then
