They loved me and thought I was so sweet, but they didn't mention to my bf that they thought I was cute or pretty or anything...they didn't mention how I looked at all. Has this ever happened to you? Am I weird for even thinking about this? My bf thinks I am beautiful.

parents are older and, generally, more mature (you would hope...) so, looks are not something that matter.
if they liked your personality... you're golden!
beside, really, who cares if your bf's parents find you attractive?? i don't get why that matters to you...

Maybe they dont care how you look. It is possible that all they want for their son is a good girl. Some people dont make comments like that. And the important thing is that your bf thinks you are beautiful.

Well if he thinks your beautiful then thats all that matters! Who cares what his parents think really? It's about you and him...Not you him and his parents! Although it is a plus that they do like you but if they didn't o well....And Have you ever thought that they were more interested in really getting to know you? personality always works before looks so...hush up

Looks are deeper than skin ! Maybe they didn't want to say anything because they didn't know if you were going to be around long enough. Maybe their son has a history of bringing girls home only to dump them the following week or maybe the mother was jealous

As long as your boyfriend thinks you're beautiful then you shouldn't worry about it. They were probably looking at your other qualities first, i'm sure they think you're attractive but it might not be the first thing that they comment on.

usually the parents wont say anything until you have been with him for more than a month or so... like with my bf his parents never said anything until about 4 months in. do not take it personally or anything. its just the way parents are. hope that helps

The older generation does not focus on looks but personality. Just be glad they like you. As long as your boyfriend think you are beautiful, that's enough.

Think positive, be happy and dont think about it much.
You need to know that you look good and your boyfriend told you too so its ok.
Some parents dont tell, but talk about you nice look some other time when you 2 dont know.

Complements like that embarrass the boyfriend. The parents usually will comment in private! That's what you should be afraid of!!!

They may feel it would be an insult to comment only on your physical apearance. Besides, his dad doesn't wnat to get slapped or anything for calling his son's girlfriend hot and his mom is unlikely to even have it register for her.
