If man was created from earth why do we still have dirt?

Hello

Picture evolution like branches coming off a tree. Certain conditions occur where a large branch splits tint smaller branches and though some remain, new ones have split into other directions.

Check the Discovery channel on Mars and life possibilities out there. When we colonize Mars people will be having to deal with 1/3 the gravity on earth. After several generations people will change in appearance with differing types of legs, appendages etc to deal with this new world and eons down the road may look very different with new types of skills and physical attributes. I am sure this will settle the debate once and for all.

Man did not evolve from monkeys or apes, monkeys, apes and man evolved from a common ancestor.

Willful ignorance is sad

The theory of evolution does not say we evolved from current monkeys and apes. It states that all modern primates (humans included) come from common ancestors. This means that millions of years ago, there was an ape or monkey that does not exist today, its descenders spread over different regions where they evolved over thousands of years in other to adapt better to their new surrounding, each one evolved differently. The result of thousands of years of evolution were modern apes, monkeys and of human beings.

Your name isn't "Drink; the Eggnog Edition," so now I'm confused.

Is this a joke?

a. we didn't evolve from them, they are our "cousins."
b. we have an ancestor in common who was neither human nor ape-that is whom we evolved from (and many other species as well).

*drink* Because monkeys and apes are still well adapted to their environments, and because monkeys and apes continued to evolve, just on different lines.

Why is this queston still being asked? It doesn't prove anything or even make any kind of real point. It just makes the asker look stupid.
