mayo clinic is the best hospital. johns hopkins is the best school. these, of course, are based on rankings in the US according to US News and World report. neuro is a pretty technology-intensive specialty, and the US tends to be ahead of the curve for medical technology. i'd be willing to guess these were the best institutions in the world.
