I have had a runny, congested nose for ages, a couple of months, i thought it was not serious but every morning now when i wake up my nose is blocked and my entire throat is dry so i have to keep a bottle of water with me. Also my mouth and nose gets irritated a lot but i do not know what is causing it. When i go outside it slows down

Maybe you have an allergy to something in your house.

If it is cold where you live, maybe your house is too dry and you need a humidifier.

How old is your pillow or when was the last time it was cleaned? Pillows and mattresses collect millions of dust mites.

I agree with hamrrfan that it is probably an allergy of some kind. I have to sleep with an air purifier next to my bed. I bought a cheap one at Walmart for $30 and it actually works great! It could be a number of things you are allergic to and since it gets better when you leave the house, it sounds like the problem. They have allergen protectors for your mattress and pillowcase but those can get expensive. Try the purifier first, I bet it will help alot.

You might have dry nasal passages....my brother has the same thing and his doctor said rub vasaline in your nose....it helps....just use a quitip and make sure not to stick it in to far....lol

use vasile up your nose with a qutip, use chapstick, get throat drops, throat spray, drink honey lemon tea, and drink a lot of water!!
