Yes I do. I worked in a very hard core industry where many were mean and nasty both over the phone and in the office and what I would do is look for the good in people no matter how small and that is what God me through the tough times.
I always look for the good. When I was having trouble with some enemies when I was young My dad who is my angel from heaven and an anionted man of God said when some one is mean to you look for the good and find one good thing about them and go on about your life. This advice has helped me from becoming bitter and resentful.
Merry Christmas e4g

Yes dear - I do. I am often deeply frustrated in my efforts... (as I am tonight.) I've been fending off trolls...
Anyway, here is a Merry Christmas wish and the hopes that you are truly blessed as we honor our Lord's blessed gift of Jesus Christ this Christmas season.
I also wanted to encourage you and thank you for being a light in this dark world - whether you know that your light is seen, or not. No matter what you may think about yourself - just know that YOU DO MATTER IN THIS WORLD! Each of us is a light in the darkness - bringing hope to another - even if you do not know it.
John 1:4-5 The Word was the source of life, and this life brought light to people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never put it out.
Matthew 4:16 The people who live in darkness will see a great light. On those who live in the dark land of death the light will shine.
Matthew 5:14-16 "You are like light for the whole world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl; instead it is put on the lampstand, where it gives light for everyone in the house. In the same way your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.
You are a light in the darkness... and I just wanted to remind you how BEAUTIFUL light in the darkness can truly be:

No, I wouldn't say I intentionally go out of my way. I just give them the same respect I wish to see from them and generally I find if you do that, it does bring out the best in people.

It is not my responsibility to bring out the best in people, but I always try to present the best of myself and hopefully generate a more positive response.

Absolutely, Like I saw in the one post, I work in tech. support, and work in an auto parts store,so there are a lot of irate people both for support, and inside my office.Sometimes, you can see the frustration or lack of confidence in people. It is a real good thing to see someone shine.I believe once a person realizes their talents and positive attributes, they will further excel themselves, and also begin to promote the good in others.I truly believe in "Pay in forward".

A lot of the time I do, it is just the way I am. The problem is that not all people appreciate that or want it.

I do not know. Others will have to be the judge of that.
All that I know is that I would like to spend the rest of my days helping and never hurting others. And with the help of the Lord I intend to do just that.

I admit, sometimes I try too hard and it backfires on me.
There are some people who don't want the best brought out of them.

Some people, yes. Other people, I just like to push their buttons and see if I can't send them on a tri-state killing spree. (Not really, that's an exaggeration.)
