Depending on what religion you follow you will say that that is the greatest religion in the world.
And whats wrong with that? If you feel that strongly about ur religion regardless it be christianity or Islam, you would say thus...Islam is the greatest religion for the world. Whats left to discuss? You need to study all aspect of other religions and the religion you are talking about to come to a conclusion and yes i have done this FYI

All the Abrahamic Religions are great & Islam is one of the three. Both Islam & Judaism are great religions as they have the right ideologies still intact about the God & about His prophets and Commandments.
I feel sorry for Christianity that has found trinity concepts of the pagan & I consider it much disguised pagan mythology using the cover of Abrahamic faith.
The core concepts of Islam do not contradict, in any way, the Ten Commandments and the rest of the Commandments in the ancients scrolls of Moses.
In simple words, 'God does not change His mind' Islam is as similar a religion as the Judaism.
Have faith in the One, unseen God, Omnipotent!

Religions in general are great because they make us do the right things toward each other. When it comes to Islam its a different subject because this religion is the most recent unmodified one, everything related to this religion is still original unlike other religions which been modified centuries ago.
Muslims believe in Christianity, Judaism, Jesus, Mary, Moses, Adam, Ave, Abraham, and other prophets before Muhammad.
Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world.

Religion involves or is centred on a relationship with a supreme being of one sort or another. They also involve various claims regarding what 'truth' is. Finally [in a general sense] they claim to impact adherents lives [for good].
If this is a reasonable general defination then the religion that meets these criteria would be the greatest? The reality is only one can be the 'truth'
Regarding God and relationship, it is a fact that Christianity is the only faith in which God comes down to man as he is. Every other faith involves man trying to reach 'up' to God.
Regarding truth - clearly this is very subjective but again I find Christianity very simple and clear in its claims regarding 'truth', and the outworking of those claims would appear to support them.
Finally regarding impact on the life of the believer, many faiths [including many 'Christians'] become blinkered, even fanatical, the 'outworking' the mechanics of the faith take on a life of their own - often very negativly. But true Christianity can and has been seen to transform the 'vilest offender' and make them more Christ-like, it is a faith which when lived out in the power of the Holy Spirit and upon the truth of the word, draws men to God, not themselves or their own egos.
I would have to say in answer to your question - No it is not. Acts 4:12 reminds us - 'There is no other name under heaven [i.e. Christ] by which we can be saved' And Jesus Himself said: 'I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me.

Greatest? Every different person has a different view upon this. Christianity has the greated population however Islam is the most growing population; this shows how many people are realising the truth in this day and age although Islam is showed as really bad in the UK.

in my words islam is the true religion, but in others eyes there religion will be the greatest, maybe non muslims should study islam, they will then find out.

There is no "greatest" religion for the world. The world is made up of a diverse and varied population of people with different interests, desires, cultures, and needs. One religion will not cover all of this. This is the very reason that many religions (and even atheism) have developed. One of the primary factors in all the wars and fighting in the world is this immature, impractical desire by differing groups to force their beliefs and ways of doing things onto other groups that have different cultures. There will be no more peace until people stop asking stupid questions like this that simply do not make any practical sense in today's global world.
