I have quite a collection of vases that I've inherited or received with flower arrangements. I use mine to store things in. I have paint brushes in my craft room, bottle brushes in my laundry room, chop sticks in my kitchen, bath salts in the bathroom and rolled up washcloths in a large one in the guest bath. Sometimes for dinner parties, I use them on the chargers as napkin holders and have even used them to put the person's name where they are to sit and given them as party favors. If you are looking to get rid of them, pick some flowers from your garden and bring them to the local nursing home, they really enjoy receiving them.

if they are clear, or even colored but you can still see thru them, you can make them betta fish bowls. get some pretty glass stones, one or 2 small plants and a fish, remember only 1 per bowl! they are very low maintenance, you will have to get food of course and water treatment for the water, when you get if from the tap. I had my betta in a vases for 3 months be4 i changed them! although if they are in the sun on a table or something the water will evaporate quicker and grow algae quicker, but very low maintenance and beautiful. i get many complements on my two, Sonny and Fancy. Plus they are sweet fish, they come up to the side of the bowl when u go up to them (they know who feeds them) and dance/swim around. i love them!

If you don't want to use your vases any more, you could scrub them well then give them to a local charity such as Good Will.
Or you could use them to hold artificial or dried flower arrangements.

If you want to get rid of them, contact an independent florist. They buy pretty vases....that people don't want anymore.

If they're attractive, put in grasses or pussywillows or different tree type branches in them. If not, give them away to the Goodwill. Or if you have a deck, put fake greenery in them, and enjoy them outside.
