Hi! I had my wisdom teeth taken out on Wednesday (they were still in the gum, so the dentist said that it was good that it was early).

Anyway, where the teeth used to be, there are stitches, but it keeps bleeding this weird gel blood thing. This morning, I woke up to find this huge glop of it about half the size of a ping pong ball. While that cleared most of it, it keeps coming back. Every time it loosens in my mouth and I spit it out, the gel blood thing keeps forming.

What is it, and how do I make it so that it doesn't keep growing (I don't mind it there too much, but it bothers me how it spreads to over my molars)?

Btw, it only happens on the right side...

The left side I can feel that gel blood, but it is not growing and it stays above the tooth line.

Hi,
Your still seeping a little blood. Rinse out well with salt water. Rinse the clot away. Bite down on a moist tea bag. Tomorrow it will look and feel great.

You need to just keep doing that rinse. I had the same thing, honestly Im sorry but there is nothing to stop it other than time for it to clot. Water with salt as a rinse will help it heal a bit faster BUT it will hurt. :(
