Yes I do believe it. And if you look back through history, the other religions didn't adopt their Christian aspects (such as the virgin birth, the death & resurrection, etc) until much later. It wasn't uncommon for those religions to add bits of other religions to their own to improve the stories. That's what they did back then. Christianity, on the other hand, remains unchanged.

No biggie. All God had to do biologically was take her egg and "ZAP" it with a y chromosome and POOF! instant boy baby. Anyone who can think up the Laws of Physics and then make a whole lotta something outta nothing isn't gonna be stymied by a little thing like an unbroken hymen!
And have you ever thought that all those earlier stories were just God's way of preparing mankind for the Real McCoy when He came along?

If God has the ability to create something out of nothing just by speaking it into existence or by simply blowing a breath in it (how Adam was created), then, why is it impossible for Him to impregnate a virgin via same or similar ways?
Would anyone believe in any god or gods if whatever deity you choose to believe can't achieve the miraculous?
God's ways are higher than ours. That's why He is God and we are not.

seem, i understand i'm some years previous via occasion yet i might basically prefer to characteristic that it is in certainty available to have a virgin delivery. Say somebody contaminated Mary's undies with sperm; the sperm could desire to proceed to exist and get interior the vagina via fact the pubic area is appropriate for sperm survival. it is truthfully no longer likely nevertheless. So she became into probably the two approximately to have intercourse and have been given precum someplace round her crotch or she's a liar and stated she became right into a virgin via fact she did no longer prefer to get stoned to loss of existence.

It would be great to provide links, sources, etc.
Most Christians? Most Christians don't know what they even believe so I doubt they know about Dionysys, and Horus(which neither of them are even close to the Jesus story) which I am sure you are refering to.
It wasn't "magical" and no, I don't think it would question it if you provide them information of how the stories are like Jesus, but then discuss how they're nothing like Jesus.
Christians have a testimony of Christ and God, just by saying "look this story is kindof the same" will do nothing to them if they have that testimony.

All religions are pretty much the same story with the same nonsensical stories. If Mary did really have a "virgin birth"...then well, we all know that she was lying and was fooling around on Joseph. "God" impregnating me is a much safer answer than "Cletus next door".

This reminds me of my Oma telling me that the "chickens were fighting" I asked her once how the baby gets into the egg. She told me the rooster sat on it. I will save myself the humiliation of telling you how long I believed that for.
