U should get the Canon SD 750. It's a great camera. All the ladies like it because it is sleek and slim. It has a big 3 inch lcd screen. It has 1600 ISO which is used for taking pictures in the day and night. Has Image Stabilization which means if your hands are shaky it will automatically stabilize your picture so you won't have that shaked effect. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8266191&type=product&id=1170290185723

all come with usb cords
go to yahoo shopping to see which one you like

All of the major brands are good. Choose a brand that appeals to you. Then you have to think about getting a spare battery, what size memory card, if you want an extended warranty, how much you can afford, what size zoom, if you want manual controls, the size of the camera, finding a reliable place to purchase it, and the list goes on and on and on.......

The first thing to realize is that almost any digital camera will take good pictures. If more people would read the manual more than once, they would be able to take better pictures. Usually, the person assumes it is the camera when it could be them not knowing exactly what to do. Just give yourself more photographic knowledge by doing more reading on the internet.

I really believe buying a camera is an individual choice.
The person needs to read alot of reviews on cameras so they can decide on the features that they really want and need.
Go to the store and hold them so you can see if they feel comfortable in your hands. If possible, take some pictures in the store to check the quality of the pictures.
I can only give a suggestion of what to look for in a new digital camera.
Good Luck

It must be a CIA secret or something. 9 out of 10 people never mention how much they intend to spend. If you're spending $155 to $170 the Cannon PowerShot A570 IS
is a fine camera. Image stabilizer, aperture/shutter priority. Another fine camera, less expensive is Canon PowerShot A560. If your budget is low, go for the Canon A460. If you're looking for a small camera expect to pay $200+ for a decent one such as Sony CyberShot DSC-W80.
PS I believe they all come with a USB cable.

I think they all come with USB

Just check for features:
How long do you have to wait before taking another shot; some can take another shot within a fration of a second, some take a couple of seconds.

OPTICAL zoom is better than digital, that is to say,
the more optical, the better.

My camara has 10 megapexils, but at that resolution, the file size is enormous. So i seldom use at that resolution.

All digital cameras come with a USB, and
I have the Sony Cybershot DSC-W80. It's a GREAT camera and very affordable for the quality. It's around $200, but worth it. It comes in pink, white, silver, and black. It takes very good pictures and is highly rated by professionals. It also has a big screen and is very small. My best friend also got one because she liked mine! I hope you get it!

This is all going to depend on what you want out of a camera. The sky is the limit in regards to price. Before we can give you advice as to what to get you need to tell us what type of photographer you are and what you will be using the camera for.
