archaeologists think they found sodom and gemorrah, and somehow, there's no sign of divine hellfire. they were destroyed by earthquakes. but no doubt, some fundie will come on here saying the archaeology proved the bible because they found these two previously unknown cities and, behold!, they are in ruins.

there was a special about it, on discovery channel, and it also explained the pillars of salt, but nonetheless attempted to find lot's cave. because you HAVE to throw the fundies a fish.
