Call poison control. Depends on if it's floridated, and how much you ingest. I imagine it would take a lot, but I don't know. Call them and they will have information.

Please understand the ingredients in tooth paste.
1. Chalk yes chalk. Calcium carbonate. Won't kill you
2. Soap yes similar to the ones you use to wash yourself. Again wont kill if ingested.
3.Antiseptic agent. In tiny quantities . Even if you swallow lots, you may vomit that is nothing serious
4.Coloring and flavoring agents. Again they ain't killers even in quantities big.
So I suggest if you are contemplating suicide you better consider something like cyanide . You don't need any quantity
Just saying the word aloud is enough to kill King kongs.
And if you are afraid of your kids dying from tooth paste ingestion, we are yet to come across children needing hospitalization after ingestion, let alone funerals!

Odds are, you will throw up long before any large amount of the stuff can do any major damage.

i think if you drank alot of mouthwash you may get sick enough,but i dont think you will beable to eat enough toothpaste before it becomes dangerous if even that.

Not sure. If you have find yourself often swallowing toothpaiste, then don't use flouride toothpaiste. Flouride is a poison.
