The best way to lose weight is by doing these two things:
1) Have a healthy and balanced permanent diet: dark green vegetables, fresh fruits, whole wheat and whole grain products, non-fat dairy products, fish, poultry breast, lean red meat, egg white.
2) Start exercising
Aerobic and weight training will raise your metabolic rate.
Aerobic Exercising:
3 times per week, conduct an exercise that keeps your heart rate elevated for at least 30-45 minutes (ex: walking, running, cycling, swimming, aerobics)
Weight Training:
Alternate days of aerobics with weight training. You will build muscles that will burn more calories, even when at rest!

Losing weight is about burning more calories than you take in.A regular intake is 2,200.1lb is 2,500 - 2,700 calories (not entirely sure of the number but its within that range).Counting calories may be an effective way to lose weight, but its not necessary.Just make sure that you exercise daily for 30-45 mins.
To help make it easier, here are some tips:
-dont over eat.it takes 15-20 mins in order for your stomach to register that youre full.Eat one plate, wait a while, and if youre still hungry, then eat some more, but only a little.
-if youre thirsty, drink water.infact, before you eat, drink a glass of water.it will make you fuller faster.
-dont eat anything past 6pm,or 3 hours before you sleep.
hope this helped

Losing wieght is not good unless you actually need to lose the weight. Always remember that muscle weighs more than fat. What you should focus on really is if you are healthy. To find this out go to your doctor, and he/she will tell you.

I believe the diabetics have it straight. Small meals, emphasizing protein, fiberous fruit vegs---limiting starches(high carb). so 2 pieces of bread a day, wholewheat, no white potatoes, white rice. Have small portions of pasta on days when you eat no bread. no crackers, chips baked desserts. No high fat anything. Then move, join curves. This is a life pure of crap thats the first, moving--is what moves old fat out. No juices, Milk and water.

You have to burn more calories than you consume. Realize that you are always burning calories though. It's called your resting metabolism. That means cardio workouts and healthy eating.

start bye eating a balance diet. its important to avoid lots of sugar and fat. you should eat plenty of things that kinclude vitamins and things like that aka fruit and veggies. try to limit your portions . get plenty of physical activity. dont try any crash diet, cuz they wont work. u need to get fit for the long run and then you will start dropping pounds like crazy. maybe try some weight training to get rid of the excess flab. and run for cardio.
