My husband helps me because we both work (i work part time but on the days I'm home my daughter and I do playdates and playgym and go outside and hang out....!) I pick one area per day and make sure I clean it before bedtime, even if I have to stay up late. However, I let the dusting go (never longer than two weeks!) if I don't get to it. Before bedtime I pick up all the toys and books. I make sure the things I use frequently are in wicker baskets or easy to access so they are just as easy to put away. My husband cleans the bathtubs, takes out the garbages, and empties the dishwasher and vaccumes the floor.
Sunday or Monday - Kitchen (including mopping floor)
Tuesday - general tidy-up and laundry
Wednesday - laundry and bathrooms (including linens)
Thursday -dusting and office and laundry
Friday - general tidy-up

Schedule? It's just too hard because life 'happens'. I have a friend who does this on Monday and that on Tuesday and the other on a Saturday, without fail and I just can't do that because something always happens at that time and then what do you do? There's a knock on effect and it falls in around you.
Basically the big stuff like making sure dishes are clean, toilets are hygienic - stuff so that you're not living in a sewer get done regularly like every day and I make sure laundry gets done twice per week otherwise it's in danger of becoming an avalanche.
The other stuff like vacuuming, washing floors, changing bedclothes get done when I have some form of support or break, like when my husband is home from work or at weekends or I have an unexpected 'day off'.
If I could afford it, I'd get someone in once per week to help with laundry (esp. ironing) and a big once over of the house with the vacuum but it's not feasible right now. Someday though..........

I have cleaning help that comes once every two weeks to deep clean the house. I do at least one load of laundry every day (otherwise get so backed up its overwhelming). I also run the dishwasher once a day. I vacuum the kitchen and family room (where most of the traffic is) every day. I wash the high traffic toilets every day (I have two boys with horrible aim, lol) I wash out the bathtubs/showers after they are used.
Wash the sheets on beds probably once a week, more often if someone is sick or wets the bed (my kids are 6, 4 and 3).
Thats all I can think of right now!

7 days a week hubby and I pick up the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Then hubby dusts while I sweep (no carpet in those rooms), and he cleans the toilet once a week. Laundry and dishwasher are done by me on alternating days. I mop all the floors every 3rd day (more when needed). Bedrooms are a bit more lax, I just try to keep them tidy and about once a week have to spend a bit more time in the. Deep cleaning like scrubbing the tub I do every couple of weeks. Keeping on top of everything only takes about 10-15 minutes per day, but our house is pretty small, only about 800 sf.

I am a stay at home mom and I also watch 2 boys with my son. I usually get some cleaning done while they eat breakfast like doing the dishes. The nap at 12 and I clean the bathroom and pick up around the house. I also take out trash and stuff like that. After the other kids leave for the day I try and wipe toys and and pick up again. Once my son is sleep for the night I do dishes, make lunch for next day, sanitize toys, wipe down stuff, and organize stuff. I try and get stuff done while he is sleeping. Laundry gets done on the weekends since I dont have one in the apartment.

I clean three times a week (sweep, mop, rugs done, clean bath, etc) and I pick up every day and always put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I would rather keep things in good order a few minutes at a time as opposed to needing a three hour block to mega clean-with a toddler and a dog it's easier for me this way. My son likes to help me-so if I dust I give him a paper towel and he "helps". He also has a little broom and vacuum that he likes to use too. So now we can clean together:) At two, my guy knows how to pick up his own things and will even race to pick up the dogs toys befoe we run the vacuum (sees me do it). We sing the clean up song and he just loves to help out. He also likes to cook now so he has a ladder in the kitchen and helps cut out biscuits, make cookies, stir mixes-anything he can do to help. Once he did that and saw the process of loading the dishwasher he worked on that too and now will ask to put his things in the washer for me. Little ones love to help so let them as much as is reasonable for them. It gives you more time together, lets you knock out chores, and makes your child feel good about being able to help.

M-Sat. I just straighten and vaccum, I try to do a load of laundry everyday but sometimes it doesn't go as planned. Sunday is my deep cleaning day. I scrub bathrooms, dust, mop, etc. on Sunday and let my husband deal with the kids while I'm doing that.

I dont really have a schedule for cleaning, but i do have somewhat of a routine. I do the dishes, take out the trash and do one load of laundry a day, and sweep the kitchen and bathroom floor.
On my day off, i will mop and vaccum and dust. And windex my windows and take care of the rest of the laundry.
