hes the best guy i've ever dated. the only problem is, he doesnt like going to family stuff. like christmas, and thanksgiving. well i love being with my family. there great. and i want them to get to know him and all that stuff. but he makes up all these excuses not to go to anything. i need to know what to do to get him to go? or should i just dump him now before i get to deep into it?? HELP!

Wow...same thing with me and my boyfriend and we've only been together for 4 months. To be honest and fair.....its really too soon. You shouldn't force him because then he'll get uncomfortable and irritable and you don't want that at a family gathering. If the relationship goes well....wait until next year when he'll likely to loosen up. Forcing him will make it seem like in the end, you'll want marriage and its too soon to make that call.
