Topicals: 8 weeks
Dawn/Joy Detergent and water: any age

Personally, I only recommend Frontline Plus. Good luck!

Basically, no flea treatements from a pet store should be touched - some are dangerous, and pretty much none of them work.

Veterinary spot-ons like Frontline, Revolution, Advantage and Advocate can be used from 8 weeks of age. Before this age, the spray version of Frontline is the only safe thing that's useful. It can be used from 2 days of age.

Dawn dish soap, baby oil and all the other things that people are suggesting should be safe, but aren't effective against fleas.

NEVER EVER EVER put any topical or shampoo product from Petsmart or Wally world on apuppy. They are unsafe and can cause nervous system failure and ultimately death. We had 2 in our clinic this year, both treated with Hartz topical drops. Frontline is now approved for puppies.

you can get stuff that is specially made for puppies, but as long as they are not nursing anymore you should be okay just make sure to keep it out of her eyes. and rinse her off real good and dry her but keep the heat away from the skin it could burn her if it to hot.
