I have a rear projection diamond series Mitsubishi 65 inch 1080p hd TV that I purchased about 4 years ago. It doesn't have HDMI hookups...can these be added and if so will they be comparable to buying them in today's TV's

I think it will cost a lot to get that module that you put in the back to upgrade the input connections - $800. I don't know if they still have those.

Rear projection and 1080p and 4 years ago, is a pretty doubtful combination, especially if the TV has no DVI or HDMI input. My bet is that you just have a 1080i or at best 720p TV.

No, there are no modules. Just use component and you will be fine.
