Yes, unprotected sex can, but it's much harder for an infection to take hold in a male for various reasons (longer urethra, pH exposure). Protected sex with anal then vaginal penatration or just unprotected anal sex can.

I don't think a UTI can be transfered because I think thats just when bacteria gets forced into your urinary tract. So its not contagious if thats what you are asking. However you can transfer other things like herpes, hepatitis, aids and so on.

No you can't give a urinary infection to a man, However, you shouldn't have sex while you have one as it makes it worse. Wait at least a week while on antibiotics.

Yes, but STDs are usually a bigger problem.
If you suspect that you have a UTI, then see a physician. S/he will take a urine culture and tell you. UTIs can be very dangerous.
If you suspect that you might be prone to one, drink at least one glass of cranberry juice each and every day.
If you find that your penis is a bit larger than normal, you very likely have an infection in it.

no its not contagious.(i get them all the time) the reason they say you can get them from having sex is that its called the honeymoon bladder and if he has any type of dirt on him and it gets into your urethra it can cause a UTI. Also this sounds crazy but the Doggie style position can also cause them from all the movement it can irritate your bladder and cause a infection but i dont think it can be passed from one person to another i have never heard of that. and my BF has never gotten one and i have them all the time from a kidney problem i have. Yes sir. You can get all kinds of nasty little infections from having sex. There are hundreds, if not thousands!

UTI mostly caused by bacteria or fungus. The same could be transferred from a woman to her sexual partner.

yes u can so the best thing is too refrain untill its cleared up love............. drink plenty of cranberry juice(1lr)... i drink 3 first off then keep going with it..... also u can buy once only medicine in a shop and they will clear it up in 24hrs... so u wont have to go without some loving for long.....

well, yes of course it can. The two organs are very close together, and bacteria are capable of invading anywhere they don't belong.
