Only God knows the future, but you have seed that you've never sewn. God chooses weak things to shame things deemed by man to be mighty. The selection by God is designed to silence the wisdom of man. Jeremiah 33:3 "Call upon the Lord and He will answer thee and show you great and mighty things."

1 Corinthians 2:10
"But God has revealed them unto us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God."

Hi Jay- I do not consider myself a seer of your future. I have found the I-Ching the most reliable and insightful of all possible avenues in perusing one's future. At times it may seem that it may not apply to you but if you print it out and look at it later, you will find how accurate it has been. It does not give monthly details. I have never found anything to be able to do this. Not astrology (even though it may make claims) or numerology.

A quick overview suggests that you have had a recent failure and are now in hard times financially or emotionally. The advice given is to not openly argue or criticize whoever or whatever caused these hard times for you. Also, the recommendation is to take some kind of action and not be idle and pity yourself as you are to be congratulated on your risk taking. You are encouraged to resolve your issue and move on as you are probably making more of it than it deserves. Be strong in your desires and goals but not to the point of being arrogant towards others.

Happy Holidays.

About Your I-Ching Reading
Your I-Ching Reading is divided into 4 parts:

Present Hexagram
Changing Lines
Future Hexagram
Going Forward

Your Question: reading for Jay Z born in January

Your Present Hexagram:

The image of oppression conjures up a dried up lake bed with nettlesome crows stalking the shoreline. Hard times shrivel our spirits, and give rise to a multitude of "crows" in the form of troublesome worries. Times of great loss or personal failure break weaker people; but the strong of heart can bend with fate. To endure hard times - or even grow and benefit from them - it is essential to tap that deepest stratum of personal identity, that which is deeper even than fate, and which is incorruptible by even the harshest realities. It is essential, in other words, to tap the wellspring of human endurance: hope.

In a sense, there is no such thing as failure. There is only sweet and sour reality, and more is learned from the sour, oftentimes, than from the sweet. For failure, hard as it may be to swallow, opens the blinds to the real world, and reawakens the clarity of vision known only to those who have risked, and tasted, disappointment.

When in the throes of hard times, it is essential to be resolute and strong on the inside while remaining quietly cheerful on the outside. Avoid too much talking - except to your closest friends. Your words will have little effect on all others, since your influence will be at a low ebb - and they will drain you of vital energy. Strong silence is the most skillful posture when facing the public during adversity; it shows that your inner core is strong enough to withstand the current troubles, and suggests that your recovery will be complete. At the same time, talking openly to those you trust is equally important, for in times of calamity, talking is part of healing.

Keep in mind that failure - the final taboo in modern society - is but one part of the inevitable cycle of life for those who dare to live fully and completely. Never to fail at all is to fail in the biggest way - avoiding risk altogether, one cannot help but fall far short of what might have been.

Your Changing Lines:

The Changing Lines are the part of an I-Ching reading that give the most powerful advice about a situation or issue, because they represent the factors that are causing things to change right now.

You have several Changing Lines, which indicates a relatively unstable situation with regard to your question.

The first changing line is line 1:
No matter how overwhelming your challenges may seem, gloom and melancholy will only make them worse. By working to overcome your problems inwardly, and committing to move forward without despair, progress becomes possible. Banish the phantoms of self-pity before moving to slay the dragons of ill-fortune.

The second changing line is line 3:
Indecision in times of adversity only brings added misfortune. The image is of a man who has gone on a walk in order to wrestle with a personal dilemma involving a relationship with his mate. Failing to resolve the problem within his own mind, he becomes more and more frustrated. He comes across a tree whose position annoys him, so in his frustration he kicks at it, stubbing his toe. He then sits down to examine his toe, only to find he has chosen to sit on thorns and nettles. Screaming with anger, he races back to his house - only to find that his mate has left him. What advice can such a person be given?

The third changing line is line 6:
The future suddenly grows brighter. You have been oppressed by bonds which can now be broken, and recent troubles are drawing to an end. Allow yourself to go forward; kick up your heels even - there's no need to be overly cautious any longer. Your problems may well be more illusory than real at this point. As soon as you grasp the reality of your current situation, take a positive attitude, and become determined. You will then master the situation, and reap the rewards.

Your Future Hexagram:

The air is ripe with imagination, inspiration and energy. The dragon is an ancient symbol of an electrically charged, dynamic, arousing force that bodes well for creative initiative. If your goals are in alignment with the greater good, your actions will meet with success, but this can only happen if you assert yourself in a positive way. This is a good time to exercise leadership, because you can be strong now. But be forewarned: success turns to failure when strength turns to arrogance.

Believe in your dreams and persevere, and everything around you will flourish. Call upon creative power and let it work through you. Stay focused on your goals; do not let yourself be distracted, or you may lose the power available to you now. And remember that when taking action, success requires good timing.

Ensuring a Successful Reading:

We hope you found your I-Ching experience insightful. The most successful readings are those that are prefaced with a specific, open-ended question. Questions asking for exact data or very general information, such as “What lottery numbers should I choose?” or “Will it rain today?” will not score as well.

Going Forward

If you found your I-Ching reading helpful, you may want to follow up with a related question to dive deeper into your area of concern. Multiple I-Ching readings can add dimension and more profound insight to your understanding of your situation. This may be the critical input you need to make an important decision or heal an emotional wound.
