I developed a blister recently from the shoe that I normally wear when going for a casual jog. The problem is mainly the tongue of the shoe. Should I buy different shoes or can i slightly shorten the tongue to eliminate this problem?

First of all to treat the blister and toughen the skin soak the effected foot in a bath of warm water and 1 cup white vinegar. Then to prevent blisters wear crew socks instead of the low-rise type - they may look less fashionable but they will stop the blisters.
